Time tracking that keeps you compliant
Paidsley is made by TMH Consulting, Inc. We build software for small businesses that employ hourly people: shops, clinics, warehouses, restaurants, offices and trades. The rules those businesses have to follow in California are unforgiving, and most time clocks were never designed with them in mind.
Why we built it
A missed meal break is a one hour premium. Overtime past eight hours in a day, double time past twelve, weighted average rates for employees paid two different rates: each of these is easy to get wrong and expensive to get wrong twice. Paidsley records what actually happened, to the minute, and does the wage math for you.
Employees clock in with their voice, in English or Spanish, from the phone already in their pocket. Managers get nudges before a violation happens, not a penalty after it.
What we believe
The record is never edited away
Punches are append only. A correction adds a new entry that points at the old one, so the history stays intact and auditable.
Compliance should be quiet
The best outcome is a premium that never had to be paid, because someone was reminded to take their break on time.
Privacy by default
Location is captured at punches only, fonts are self hosted, and no analytics tag loads before you say yes.
